Lim Geok Choo

Lim Geok Choo is an experienced music educator as well as a veteran accompanist in the Singapore choral music scene. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with BMus(Hons) in piano pedagogy and has been awarded the music department scholarship. Geok Choo holds an LTCL in piano performance and a LMusTCL in Music Theory. She was a faculty member of Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts from 1988-1998. In 1989, she was also awarded the Tan Kah Kee Fellowship in Singapore.

Geok Choo is also a passionate chorister and an arranger. As a student of Dr Zechariah Goh’s folksong arrangement class from 2012-2013, her arrangements have then been performed in competitions and concerts.

With an eager heart to learn, Geok Choo is on the constant search for self-improvement, because she believes that learning is boundless.
