Casey “Broadway” Koh

Dr. Casey Broadway Koh is best known for his work in choral conducting and musical theater as a producer, music director, performer and educator. He is the founder of the Broadway Academy in Malaysia and also the advisor and founder of the Broadway Theater Society Malaysia.

Dr. Koh holds a PhD from ASWARA specializing in Voice and Musical Theater and has lectured in several universities and colleges in Malaysia and abroad. He is also involved in the instrumental scene as an instrumental soloist, orchestral musician and symphonic band conductor as well as a chamber musician.

As a vocalist, Casey performs regularly in recitals and is currently the music director of several choirs in Malaysia and Thailand. He is also a strong enthusiast in the Estill Voice Training. Dr. Casey Broadway Koh served as the Chair of Voice and Choral Studies at The College of Music Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University, Bangkok, Thailand from 2015 to 2019.

Upon his return to Malaysia, he lectures at the National Arts Academy Of Malaysia, ASWARA as a choral director. His choirs have won many awards locally and internationally. Dr Koh has conducted workshops both within Malaysia and internationally. He is also frequently invited as an international adjudicator for choir festivals.
