Born in Jakarta, 1996, Caspar started his choral journey in 2009 as church organist. As a self-taught musician, he was influenced by Lucia Kusumawardhani Tirta Pratiwi in 2013. Caspar has attended masterclasses and workshops with Nicolas Fink, Budi Susanto Yohanes, Lim Ai Hooi, Joel Navarro, Jennifer Tham, Mark Anthony Carpio, and Foong Hak Luen. His choral compositions typically explore pentatonic melodies, especially Pelog (in Balinese and Javanese style). His composition was premiered at e Deum Voice annual concert in 2018. As a founder and music director of Sonore Chamber Choir (since 2017), he intends to broaden his influence and attain higher achievements in his choral journey, especially in the international competitive choral scene.
