Adyll Hardy

Adyll honed his musicianship and singing in numerous award-winning choirs such as the National University of Singapore (NUS) Choir, The Vocal Consort Singapore and SYC Ensemble Singers. His craft is deeply rooted in the Kodaly philosophy of music. Under the tutelage of his vocal teacher Thomas Kuek, Adyll achieved a distinction in ATCL Recital in Singing as well as an Advanced Performance Certificate from Trinity College London. Most recently in 2018, he completed his LTCL in Singing. He attained a Diploma in Conducting and ALCM in Conducting from London College of Music in 2013 and 2015 respectively.
Adyll received the Tan Ean Kiam Arts award from NUS Centre for the Arts in 2012, which honours individuals who have contributed significantly to the arts community as alumni of NUS. As Music Director of the National University of Singapore Society (NUSS) Choir since 2013, he has worked with the choir to attain gold and silver awards and the Golden Voices Award at various international choir festivals from 2014-2017.
Adyll directs The Graduate Singers (TGS), a semi-professional choral ensemble, which was founded in 2010. In 2017, Adyll led TGS to win 2 Golds in the 5th Vietnam International Competition and emerged as Champions for the Chamber Category. The choir recently participated in the World Choir Games held in South Africa in 2018.
