Jeremiah Liew

Jeremiah Liew is a singer, pianist and a music teacher residing in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He obtained his Diploma in Music from the Malaysian Institute of Art (M.I.A.) and is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Music at the National Academy of Arts Culture and Heritage (ASWARA).
He began his music journey as a pianist in 2007 in the small town of Kuantan, in Pahang state. During his six years in Kuantan, he participated in many recitals and was part of the team that made the Longest Instrumental Recital in 2011 to be recorded in The Malaysian Book of Records.
In 2013, Jeremiah moved to Kuala Lumpur to study piano under Ms Chua Lyndee and in 2018 as a student at M..I.A, he began taking voice lessons under Mr Brandon Wong and sang as a member of the Malaysian Institute of Art Men’s Chorus and Mixed Voices Choir. In 2019, Jeremiah was awarded Trinity Rockschool’s Player Award for Vocals.
Jeremiah has sung as a chorister in numerous performances with his M.I.A. college choirs, including numerous travels abroad to various countries. He currently teaches piano and voice at a private music school and continues to be active with performance opportunities there.
Jeremiah started arranging music since he was studying in M.I.A, beginning with choral arrangements and gradually began composing and song-writing.
