Justin Goh

Justin was first exposed to choral music in Victoria School Choir and Victoria Junior College Choir. The opportunity to lead as Student Conductor in both choirs catalysed his interest in arranging familiar tunes for multiple voice parts.

In 2016 and 2017, Justin attended Folksong Arrangement workshops conducted by Dr Zechariah Goh. This challenged him to arrange in both Min Nan and Chinese languages, allowing him to rediscover his cultural roots. Kong sia mih ue and Cai cha pu die were the product of these explorations.

As a music educator working with Primary and Secondary School Choirs, Justin also enjoys arranging Popular music for young voices. These include This Is Me and Never Enough from the movie The Greatest Showman.

Justin hopes that his arrangements will spark an interest in choral music amongst singers of all ages.
