Cahaya Purnama [Moonlight] (SATB)

Cahaya Purnama (Moonlight) was inspired by the 15th governor of Jakarta - Basuki Tjahaja Purnama. Purnama made many changes in Jakarta, where the I live. The first section of the music starts with three notes, followed by the melody sung by the sopranos. The altos then take over the melody, and the piece builds up to the Slow Dance, where every part has the melody. The Starry Night section has the basses take the lead and other voices imitating twinkling stars. Finally, the tenors get featured, and the piece concludes with the harmony from the beginning.
