Duo Seraphim (SSAA)
Duo Seraphim for 2 treble choirs and organ is ideal for festivals, concerts, church anniversaries and Trinity Sunday worship services. Written in simple melodies, it showcases both Western and Asian influences with hints of Eastern ones.
The text for this piece is taken from the Latin Vulgate translation of the Bible. The first movement is taken from Isaiah’s vision of the temple of God in Isaiah 6:2-3: “Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.”
The second movement is taken from 1 John 5:7: “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”
